The SP-148540 is an assembly drive board in ’s 1395 series of digital DC-powered Printed Circuit (PC) assembly drive boards, generally used for applications such as control processes. It is a digital DC PC board assembly consisting of various electrical components that derive a process control. Using surface mount technology, the mechanical assembly of the circuit is completed. Then, using both surface-mount and through-hole technology, the conductive pads or holes are made. The soldering techniques for the SP-148540 include an SMT placement machine for soldering very minute components and connections. It can indicate if hard faults, soft faults, or warning faults occur.

The SP-148540 can be manually tuned with an oscilloscope, a digital voltmeter, and a discrete adapter board. It can be tested in a number of ways, primarily with an automated testing inspection for quality control purposes, although other tests like the power-off test includes analog signature analysis, while in-circuit testing is used while the circuit is on and a functional test is applied while the PC assembly board is on, if the user needs to check what it is designed to do. The integrated circuits mounted on the board are generally tested by a boundary scan test.
