The common rejection module signal at 60 Hertz is 105 dB; its normal rejection mode signal at 60 Hertz is 55 dB. Its backplane current draw at 5 Volts is 55 mA, whereas with 24 Volts, it increases to 145 mA. This module must receive both 5 and 24 Volts of power from the backplane source of the SLC 500 setup; some similar modules may require an external power source, but the 1746-NIO4I will not work with one.

The 1746-NIO4I contains two (2) current (or voltage) inputs that can be selected by the user per each channel, as well as two (2) current outputs.
