One serial communication port for connetion to network if any of the fllowing holds:
PC is used as client PC is used as DCOM communication client and/or server
Printing via network. If this PC is used also as DCOM communication server, there are further requirements:
Engineering board PU516 (PCI) or DSPU131 (ISA) in case of engineering board server
One communication port in case of point -to-point communication to Advant Controller 100 Series (the same serial communication port for Advant Controller 100 Series conection mentioned above) CI526 CI527 communication interface module in case of direct connection via AF 100 Interface to Adrant Controller 100 Series. Further requirements in case of engineering board PU516 (PC):
One free PCI expansion slot, full length Power requirements for the engineering board PUS16:
+5V 13W, +12V 1.5W without connection to MB300 transceiver -+5V 13W, +12V 7.5W when connected to MB300 transceiver.
Further requirements in case of enginering board DSPU131 (ISA): One free ISA expansion slot, AT size long and XT high
Power requirements for the engineering board DSPU131:  +5V1.6A +12 V 25 mA,-12V 25 mA.
