The current Panelview 6 Plus 2711P-K7C4D8 is an HMI that allows the user to interact with their machine. This operator interface has a 6.5 in. Color Display. The user is able to control the operator interface by utilizing the Keypad to input information and data. This unit is powered using 18-32 VDC power. This unit has 512 MB RAM and 512 MB non-volatile memory. It has an approximate shipping weight and dimensions are 8 lbs. and 14 x 11 x 8 in. It supports Ethernet I/P which is an open industrial network that supports real time I/O messaging, as well as message exchange. The Ethernet port connects to a controller on an EtherNet/IP network by using both the network and standard Ethernet connections. This port can work with application transfers and printing as well. The 2711P-RN20 Ethernet communication module is available for the 700 to 1500 terminals if another Ethernet port is required. The module has its own unique IP address. This port has an RJ45, 10/100Base-T connector for network communication and supports MDI/MDI-X connections. The parameters are downloaded with the application.

Operators and personnel can access the terminal’s parameters and operate connected machine or processes through the embedded keypad interface which is composed of navigation keys, numeric input keys and 22 programmable function keys that is composed of F1 - F10 and K1-K20 keys. Only the function keys are configurable for local and global assignments.

The 2711P-K7C4D8 has a battery-backed Real-Time clock (RTC) that timestamps critical data with accuracy of +/-2 minutes per month. The embedded battery has a lifespan of 4 years when operated at 25 Degree Celsius or 77 Degree Fahrenheit. This battery is field replaceable with replacement part number of 2711P-RY2032 or any equivalent CR032 coin-cell Lithium battery.
