Product Overview

The Bently Nevada 330904-00-17-10-01-CN is a 3300 NSv Proximity Probe for use as part of the 3300 XL NSv Proximity Transducer System. The NSv system consists of a 3300 NSv probe, a 3300 NSv extension cable, and a 3300 XL NSv Proximitor Sensor. The 3300 XL NSv system is particularly suited to applications where counterbore, side-view, or rear-view restrictions limit the use of standard Bently Nevada 3300 and 3300 XL 5 mm and 8 mm transducer systems. Its compact sensing characteristics also make it suitable for small-target applications, including radial vibration measurements on shafts smaller than 51 mm (2 in) and axial position measurements on flat targets smaller than 15 mm (0.6 in). When combined with the appropriate extension cable and Proximitor Sensor, the probe supports radial vibration and radial position measurements, axial (thrust) position measurements, tachometer and zero-speed measurements, and phase-reference Keyphasor signals. These applications are primarily associated with fluid-film bearing machines where small shafts or reduced side-view clearance are present.
