However, with specific measures, you can keep static from entering the board. First, the board is shipped to you in a sealed static protective package. It is best to keep the board in the sealed package until you are about to install it. Wear a static protective wrist strap to handle the board. 1 end of the strap is wrapped around your wrist or arm.
