The 170130 is an field pulse transformer and a snubber board. It is classified under the 1395 spare part series. The 170130 comes with AC line snubber circuit board and it also includes the installation screws for the AC Line Snubber Circuit Board. It comes with up to 6 high wattage resistors and wire leads. For the high watt resistor installation, the 170130 also comes with up to 12 screws and it has thermal grease. The installation kit also features cable ties that are tied together with a static strap. The 170130, which is an AC line snubber board with resistors is normally located at the top of the drive chassis which is found behind the control board, and also the Control EMI shield. While connecting the module, it is important to ensure that the power is unplugged. This is important both before making and before breaking the cable connections.
Note that unplugging the power cord will ensure that the possibility of an electrical arc occurring is reduced. The electrical arc might result in personal injury or in damage to the applications which will send an erroneous signal to the system’s filed devices and this will cause unintended machine motion. The electrical arcing also causes excessive wear to contacts on both the module and on the mating connector. While installing the 170130, each one of the gate lead cables should be connected to the exact connector where it was removed on the pulse transformer circuit board. Otherwise, this might lead to the damaging of the drive. Ensure that the 4 plastic board stabilizers on the top airflow plate are placed appropriately.
