The 1769-PB4 is a Compact I/O power supply. This module is part of the 1769 Compact I/O product family that operates when supplied with an external supply voltage of 19.2-31.2 VDC with nominal supply voltage of 24VDC. This power supply module delivers the appropriate current drawn by modules installed to its left and right side. Up to Eight (8) modules may be installed on both sides of this power supply.
The 1769-PB4 has a current capacity of 4.0 A at 5VDC and 2.0 A at 24VDC. It is capable of withstanding a maximum inrush current of 30 A with isolation voltage rating of 75V (continuous), reinforced insulation type (IEC Class 1 grounding required) Routine tested at 1697V DC for 1 s, DC power input to system.
The 1769-PB4 has power consumption of 100 VA @ 24V DC and Power dissipation of 14.5 W @ 60° C (140° F). This power supply is provided with internal fuse which could be a Wickmann 19193-6.3A or Littelfuse 021706.3MXP.
