Control input signals are used to start and stop the current flow to an application.

Installers should note that an incorrectly applied or installed bypass system will result in component damage and also reduction in the life of the 1336-CT-SP1A. The immunity of the 1336-CT-SP1A to externally generated interference is good. It is good to ensure that the coils of DC energized contactors associated with the 1336-CT-SP1A be suppressed with a diode or a similar device. This is because they can generate electrical transients.
