The 1336-PB-SP2A board is a precharge circuit board from / Automation. It is a precharge PCB or printed circuit board manufactured by as a spare part board for the 1336 series of variable frequency drives that are also manufactured by . The variable frequency drive converts AC input voltage into DC voltage, it adjusts the frequency of the input voltage, and then it again converts the DC voltage back to AC voltage which is used to control and regulate the torque and speed of different induction motors. These variable frequency drives are 3-phase devices. The 1336-PB-SP2A printed circuit board is mainly used to limit the inrush current when the input voltage is applied to the system. An initial high voltage flowing into the system may damage the internal components of the drive. This means that the Precharge printed circuit board limits the initial current and regulates it. This helps to protect the drive from electrical damage.
