The 1715-A3IO is a Bulletin 1715 Redundant I/O module 3-Slot I/O Base Unit. This module has a 3-slot I/O Base Unit Chassis. It supports 3 I/O Modules with a Power Dissipation of 4 Watts Maximum. The / Automation 1715-A3IO adapter base for the redundant I/O System can be used with up to 3 modules. This adapter base comes from the Bulletin 1715 product family that offers different redundant I/O platforms for demanding applications. The platforms from the 1715 series are extremely easy to use and they do not require the implementation of user programming codes, Add-On Instructions (AOIs), or the usage of special wiring methods. These are the things that separate 1715 redundant I/O platforms from other I/O platforms on the market. Other platforms tend to be difficult to use with redundant systems and their use requires complex programming that the users need to perform, the usage of Add-On Instructions (AOIs), and the usage of the unorthodox wiring of inputs and outputs. The 1715 I/O supports different configurations and it can be adjusted for a variety of different applications. The amazing 1715-A3IO can be implemented with critical applications, including non-safety and simplex/duplex configurations. This platform also features fault-tolerant capabilities through designated redundant Ethernet adapters, and it provides advanced diagnostics capabilities.
