It dissipates 6.9 Watts of total heat during operation and it dissipates 0.775 Watts of heat per output point. The 1746-OB8 output module is a DC output module with a voltage rating of 24 Volts DC. Its backplane current consumption rating is 0.135 Amps at 5 Volts DC and it is 0 Amps at 24 Volts DC. The 1746-OB8 output module can withstand up to 3 Amps of surge current per output point for up to 10 milliseconds.
The 1746-OB8 has a design that complies with international standards. It is UL-listed, CE compliant, and CSA and C-Tick certified.
