The 1756-ENBT is an communication module that support Ethernet I/P communication protocol. This module has One (1) RJ45 port for connecting to Ethernet network. This Ethernet module supports 10/100 Mbps transmission speed in half or full duplex mode.
The 1756-ENBT ControlLogix Ethernet/IP Bridge Module is a copper communication module used to transfer large volumes of data using an Ethernet connection. This module can handle 64 TCP and 128 CIP connections with a communication rate of 10 / 100 Mbps. This module supports high-speed processor interlocking, control distributed I/O, and route to devices on a different NetLinx network, using the Ethernet/IP network as a backbone. These capabilities allow users to control, configure, and collect data in just one Ethernet/IP network. In turn, this allows the users to cut back on maintenance and support costs and then simplify their network architecture because fewer networks may then be required to run their application.
