The 1756-HIST2G is an manufactured ControlLogix device. It is part of the Factory Talk Historian ME communication module. It is widely used in an industry-based device for distributing the implementation of motion and gives flexible control to the user. It is equipped with a non-removable Lithium battery and comes with a Precision Real-Time Clock. The ControlLogix has a power consumption of 5 Watts under normal load and a maximum of 7 Watts. The module has no fan present. It comes with a single Ethernet 10/100 T IEEE 802.3 adapter. It is mainly used for communication purpose.
