The 1784-PCD card is a DeviceNet PC card. The 1784-PCD card enables computers with PCMCIA slots to interface with the DeviceNet networks. The Personal Computer Memory Card International Association (PCMCIA) has developed a standard for evaluating credit-card-sized PC cards. Cards complying with the PCMCIA standard (release 1.0) can be used for data storage. Cards complying with the PCMCIA standard (release 2.0) can be used for data storage and for I/O.
