The 1788-CNCR is a ControlNet daughtercard. This electronic communication adapter installs to a host device, enabling connection to a linear or redundant ControlNet network architecture.

The 1788-CNCR comes with dual Two (2) Coaxial cable port and an RJ45 port acting as Network Access Port (NAP). It has built-in status indicators such as I/O, module, and network status indicators.

The 1788-CNCR is a ControlNet daughtercard. This electronic communication adapter attaches to any compatible host device such as a computer or controller that supports the connection port of the daughtercard. The 1788-CNCR comes with Two (2) ControlNet ports, supporting simplex and redundant ControlNet media.

The 1788-CNCR uses a coaxial media cable for establishing connection to the ControlNet network. It also comes with a Network Access Port (NAP) and built-in LED status indicators such as I/O status, Module Status and Network Status LEDs.

It is also provided with node address switches installed beside the LED indicators. These node switches allows setting of the daughter card’s node address. The LED status indicators have Three (3) operating states such as steady, alternating and flashing.

The 1788-CNCR has an open type enclosure rating. It has a power requirement of 5V dc @ 475 mA (maximum), Power consumption of 2.375 watts, and Power dissipation of 2.375 watts or 8.1 BTU/hour.
