It has a nominal input current of requirement of 11.0 mA. This module supports Remote I/O (RIO) communication protocol for implementing distributed I/O architecture.
The 1791-32A0 is a block I/O module. Block I/O modules are stand-alone I/O stations that is equipped with fixed I/O channels and a communication interface that support Remote I/O (RIO) communication. The 1791-32A0 in particular is a Thirty-Two (32) channel block I/O module with each channel operating at a nominal input voltage of 120VAC and operating voltage range of 79-132VAC along a frequency of 47-63Hz.
The input channels of the 1791-32A0 are grouped into Four (4) groups with each group having Eight (8) channels each. Each input channel has a maximum Off-state voltage of 35V, minimum On-state current of 5 mA at 79V, 60 Hz and maximum On-state current of 12.3 mA @ 132VAC, 60 Hz. Each channels has switching delays of 1.0 ms for Off to On transition and maximum of 26 ms for On to Off transition.
