The 1794-IA8 is a FLEX 120 Volts AC Digital I/O module. It features 8 non-isolated inputs and it converts AC signals to the appropriate logic level for use within the processor. It comes with 8 yellow status indicators and can be mounted on a DIN rail or a panel mount. 

The 1794-IA8 also has various communication interfaces available like DeviceNet, ControlNet, Profibus DP, and EtherNet/IP. This module has a total measurement of 3.7 x 2.7 x 3.7 inches and an open-type enclosure and it is compatible with 22 to 12 AWG stranded copper wire. It can be attached to the following terminal base units: the 1794-TB3K, 1794-TBN, 1794-TB3SK, 1794-TB2, 1794-TBNK, 1794-TB3, 1794-TBKD, and the 1794-TB3S. It has 8 key switch positions.

Th 1794-IA8’s voltage is 85 to 132 Volts AC at 47 to 63 Hertz. It also has a minimum on-state voltage of 65 Volts AC, a nominal voltage of 120 Volts AC, a maximum on-state voltage of 132 Volts AC, and an off-state voltage of 43 Volts AC. Its nominal current is 12 mA at 120 Volts AC, 60 Hertz. The module has an isolation voltage of 2150 Volts DC, which is for 1 seconds between the system and the user, a FlexBus current of 30 mA at 5 Volts DC, and a bus rating of 30 mA at 5 Volts DC. 

Its power dissipation is 4.5 W maximum at 132 Volts AC and its thermal dissipation is 15.3 BTU/hour. The default filter time for the module from OFF to ON is 8.4 milliseconds and it is 26.4 milliseconds from ON to OFF. It has a relative humidity of 5 to 95% (non-condensing), an operating temperature of -20 to 55 degrees Celsius, and a non-operating temperature of -40 to 85 degrees Celsius. The module also has an operating vibration of 5g at 10 to 500 Hertz, an operating shock of 30g, and a non-operating shock of 50g.
