2094-AC09-M02 |  integrated Axis module

The 2094-AC09-M02 is an Integrated Axis Module (IAM) from the Kinetix 6000 product family. This module is an essential part of implementing motion control as it hosts the major field connections such as Contactor enable (CED) connector, DC bus/AC input power (IPD) connector, Control power (CPD) connector, Motor power (MP) connector, Motor/resistive brake (BC) connector, I/O (IOD) connector.

Aside from the variety of connectors available to the module’s front panel, the 2094-AC09-M02 SERCOS and DPI connectivity is mounted near the bottom of the module, covered by a removable access door. SERCOS connections available to this module are Sercos transmit (Tx) connector and Sercos receive (Rx) connector as well as a single DPI connector for connection of optional peripherals and modules.

The 2094-AC09-M02 operates when supplied with an input supply voltage range of 195-264 VAC, 3-phase with nominal voltage of 230 VAC along an input frequency range pf 47-63 Hz while the control voltage of this module is designed for an input voltage of 95-264 VAC, 1-Phase with nominal values of 110VAC / 240 VAC. This module delivers an output voltage to the bus of 325 VDC with overvoltage detection when bus voltage reaches 415 VDC and undervoltage detection when bus voltage drops to 138 VDC. Additionally, it has a continuous output current to bus of 10 A and peak output current to bus of 20 A while the continuous output power is 6 kW and the peak output power is 12 kW and efficiency of 95%.

The 2094-AC09-M02 is a 200 to 230 Volt AC Bulletin 2094 Integrated Axis Module with a 6 kW converter, three-phase input power, and 15 A inverter. It has a frequency of 47 to 63 Hertz, an AC input voltage of 195 to 264 Volts RMS, 20 milliseconds line loss ride through, and a 325 Volt DC nominal bus output voltage. On common-bus follower, the DC input current is 19 A and DC input voltage is 275 to 375 Volts DC. It has a main AC input current ranging from a nominal 19 Amperes RMS to a maximum inrush of 37 A (0 to pk). It is UL-listed to U.S. and Canadian safety standards and is CE-compliant. It is an essential system component of the Kinetix 6000 Multi-axis Servo Drives.

The 200 Volt-class 2094-AC09-M02 IAM Servo Drive features built-in, ISO 13849-1 PLe/SIL3-certified safe torque-off functionality that prevents drive restarts whenever the safety circuit is tripped. By disabling the drive output, the motor torque is removed without requiring the entire machine to power off. This results in enhanced machine operating efficiency, minimized downtime, and a cut down on energy and production wastage. The connector sets include a replacement STO header with a jumper. To meet the Category 3 EN954-1 standard, an external safety relay is required. For applications that do not make use of the STO feature, bypass the safe torque-off circuit by installing jumper wires.
