2098-DSD-010X |SERVO DRIVE

The 2098-DSD-010X is an Ultra 3000i Digital Servo Indexing Drive. This Indexing drive is capable of being stored with pre-configured moves which can be relative or absolute, depending on the desired motion application.

The 2098-DSD-010X requires an input voltage of 100-240VAC rms, 1-Phase, input current of 9 A along a frequency range of 47-63 Hz. It has an output voltage of 100-240VAC range, with frequency of 0-400Hz continuous output power of 1kW with Continuous Output Current 5A and Intermittent Output Current of 15A.

This indexing drive has all the automation and status LEDs installed on the device’ front panel. It is equipped with Seven-segment Status Indicator, DC Bus Connections for Active Shunt Resistor installation, AC Input Power Connections for wiring input voltage supply. 

Installed at the bottom is the Motor Power cable shield clamp, used to fix the input supply wire in position and providing noise elimination. It has a CN3 9-pin Serial Port Connector that is used to communicate the drive via RS232 or RS485 communication standard, CN2 15-pin Motor Feedback Connector for interfacing motor feedback signal, CN1 44-pin User I/O Connector for interfacing external input and output signals.

This drive supports use of RSLogix 5000 Programming software or Studio 5000 Logix Designer Application. This programming software allows the drive to be fully integrated in the user program via add0on profiles and instructions. For stand-alone commissioning and configuration of drive parameters, this drive supports ’s Ultraware programming software. The Ultraware software allows offline and online configuration of the drive which directly contributes to faster commissioning.

The 2098-DSD-010X is designed with 8 active high current and sinking 12-24V optically isolated digital outputs and 4 current sourcing, 12-24V active high optically isolated digital outputs. Additionally, it has a Normally Open (N.O.) relay output, with a relay rating of 30V DC and 1A and it has a maximum I/O response time of 100 µs with 1ms Digital I/O firmware scan time. 

The 2098-DSD-010X is designed to withstand a 2.5G operational vibration at 10-200Hz and an operational shock of 15G and it will still maintain an optimal function at an altitude of 1500m (4921.5ft). Its working temperature ranges between 0 and 55 Deg. Celsius (32 and 131 Deg. Fahrenheit) around a relative humidity range of 5-95% without condensation and it is designed for storage in a -40-70 Deg. Celsius (-40-158 Deg. Fahrenheit) temperature range. The drive has total dimensions of 98.1mm x 32.77mm x 65.02mm and weighs approximately 2.10kg (4.6lb).
