The 22A-D4P0N104 drive is an Adjustable Frequency AC drive from the PowerFlex 4 drive family. This electronic equipment is manufactured by to implement modulating speed in control for use in a wide variety of applications such as fan and pumps, as well as simple lifting applications as this drive is capable of Sensorless Vector control that allows speed and varying Torque control.

The 22A-D4P0N104 requires a voltage input supply range of 342-528VAC, 3-Phase along a frequency of 48-63 Hz. It has an output voltage range of 0-460VAC, 3-Phase with frequency range of 0-240Hz. It has a continuous output current of 4.0 Amperes and applicable motor rating of 1.5kW or 2.0 Horsepower. This drive is equipped with Undervoltage and overvoltage protection circuitry wherein overvoltage trip occurs at 810V DC bus voltage which is equivalent to 575V AC incoming line and undervoltage trip at 390V DC bus voltage which is equivalent to 275V AC incoming line.

The 22A-D4P0N104 has Three (3) fixed inputs designated for START / STOP / REV and Two (2) fully programmable inputs that may be assigned according to machine or process control inputs. It also has One (1) Normally Open (N.O.) and Normally Closed (N.C.) and One (1) unipolar analog input channel compatible with 0-10VDC or 4-20 mA. The embedded channels are typically used to control the drive via external input signaling devices. For software-based control, the drive may be communicated using the RS485 communication interface and used with Drive Explorer, DriveTools SP or Studio 5000 Design Environment.

The 22A-D4P0N104 meets the demands of global OEMs with its application versatility and ease of use. It comes without a CE-compliant filter, but it does have a brake drive. It belongs to the frame size A and fits into an IP20/UL (Open) enclosure, which makes it durable and fit for different manufacturing environments. This PowerFlex 4 drive is equipped with Sensorless vector control, which allows the drive to automatically provide auto-boost and slip compensation. With this feature, the 22A-D4P0N104 drive is also capable of providing exceptional speed regulation and high torque levels across the speed range of the drive, even as the loading increases. The maximum wire for this frame size (A) is 3.3 millimeters squared (or 12 AWG), with a minimum size of approximately 0.8 millimeters squared (or 18 AWG). Its torque is between 16 and 19 pounds on an inch (1.7 to 2.2 N-m).
