The 2711-T10C9 is a PanelView 1000 Standard Operator Terminal. This operator terminal is powered by an external 85-264VAC supply voltage and has a 10.1-inch colored display with embedded RS232 interface that supports DH485 and another RS232 port for printer interface. It has an analog resistive touchscreen operator interface.
The 2711-T10C9 colored display screen allows viewing of the terminal’s configuration environment as well as the runtime interface of the operator terminal. With the Active Matrix Thin-Film Resistor (TFT) with Cold Cathode Fluorescent (CCF) Backlight, the operator terminal may be used to display a full color graphic and display high-level information at a glance. The colored screen may be used to display the status of instruments and devices, depict process areas, materials and plant situation. The embedded analog-resistive touchscreen interface is designed to allow operators to directly interface with the runtime objects displayed in the screen. This is a more convenient method of operating the 2711-T10C9 compared to keypad terminals.
