The 2711P-T15C21D8S is a PanelView Plus 7 operator terminal. This operator terminal is manufactured by that is used to implement real-time operator interaction between and process. It is composed mainly of a visualization screen, an operator interface and communication port.

Specifically, the 2711P-T15C21D8S comes with a 15-inch, color Thin-Film-Transistor (TFT_ LCD screen with viewing area of 304 x 228 mm, display resolution of 1024 x 768 XGA, 18-bit color graphics and aspect ratio of 4:3. For operator interaction, the 2711P-T15C21D8S is provided with an analog resistive touchscreen interface with actuation lifespan of 1 million presses. This touchscreen interface is recommended to be operated at an actuation force of 100 grams, with a gloved finger or plastic stylus. With touchscreen input, operator is permitted to directly interact with the published runtime objects. Communication is established using the embedded One (1) Ethernet interface that supports linear topology.

This operator terminal is powered by supplying a voltage supply input of 18-30VDC with nominal supply of 24VDC. It has a power consumption of 50 W max (2.1A at 24V DC) and Heat dissipation of 30 Watts or 102 BTU. It has an operating temperature of 0-55 °C (32-131 °F), operating altitude of 2000 M and operating shock and vibration of 15 g at 11 ms and 2g peak at 57…500 Hz, respectively.

The 2711P-T15C21D8S also has third-party device support, a VNC client-server, and ActiveX controls. It has a 304 x 228 mm viewing area and a 1024 x 768 XGA with 18-bit color graphics. It has a Battery backed Real-Time Clock with accuracy of +/-2 minutes per month that is ideally operated at 25° C or 77° F, to achieve operational life of 4 years, minimum. The battery can be replaced by a CR2032 lithium coin cell. The touchscreen is analog-resistive with an operating force of 100 grams. The actuation rating of the touchscreen is 1 million presses. The backlight is not replaceable, and its lifespan is 50,000 hours minimum at 40° C to half-brightness. The approximate weight is 3.07 kg or 6.75 lbs with an input voltage of 24V DC non-isolated.
