Be sure there is adequate clearance for air circulation around the drive. For best air
movement, do not mount GV3000/SE drives directly above each other. Note that no
devices are to be mounted behind the drive. This area must be kept clear of all control
and power wiring. Refer to figure 3.2 for recommended air flow clearances.
It is important to verify that plant power will meet the input power requirements of the
drive’s Power Module circuitry. Refer to table 2.1 for input power rating specifications.
Be sure input power to the drive corresponds to the drive nameplate voltage and
frequency.

On the left side, these LED indicators are labeled as follows from top to bottom: “SPEED,” “VOLTS,” “AMPS,” “Hz,” “Kw,” “TORQUE,” and “Password.” On the right side, these LED indicators are labeled as follows from top to bottom: “RUNNING,” “REMOTE,” “JOG,” “AUTO,” “FORWARD,” “REVERSE,” and “PROGRAM.” In addition to that, there are many buttons on the interface area. Below the LED indicators, there is a button labeled “STOP/RESET” and another button labeled “START.” On the right side, there are white buttons which are labeled as follows: “AUTO/MAN,” “Forward/Reverse,” “PROGRAM,” “RUN/JOG,” and “ENTER.” The top two buttons are up and down arrow buttons.
