The 1756-L81E is a ControlLogix controller from the ControlLogix 5580 product family, the latest and modern designed ControlLogix series. The 1756-L81E has a modifiable firmware, upgraded and downgraded using the ControlFlash utility. Ethernet IP address may be configured using the BOOTP DHCP utility or the Studio 5000 Logix Designer which is the same programming software for programming, testing and commissioning this ControlLogix controller.
The 1756-L81E has local I/O event triggers (unlimited controller task) and uses the Studio 5000 Software.
