The C200HW-SLK13, which was manufactured by Omron, is a fiber optic link module backplane for the C200HW series of PLCs. It can connect up to 16 PLCs in a daisy chain configuration, with a maximum cable length of 1000 meters. This C200HW-SLK13 module supports the Omron SYSMAC LINK protocol, has a maximum data transfer rate of 100 Mbps per channel, and can use 12 fiber optic channels simultaneously. Its termination style is D-Sub, Fiber Optic based. It is a versatile and dependable fiber optic link module suitable for various industrial applications. It is implemented to connect PLCs to machine tools, robots, and other industrial machinery and is appropriate for a wide range of production applications. This enables centralized control of several units as well as data interchange between machines. It is used in factory automation systems to connect PLCs to sensors, actuators, and other devices.
