The GE Fanuc IC693ACC341 baseplate is a redundant power supply baseplate with 24 Volts DC of output power. The baseplate comes equipped with 2 connectors which allow the users to attach the baseplate to a CPU or an upstream rack.

The IC693ACC341 baseplate is a redundant power supply (RPS) baseplate that is made by GE Fanuc. The IC693ACC341 RPS baseplate supports expansion from the primary rack for up to 7 extra IC697 PLC racks, with a maximum of 15 meters (50 feet) of interconnecting cable.

This RPC baseplate occupies one slot, and it comes equipped with 2 connectors. One connector is to attach the IC693ACC341 RPS baseplate to a CPU or an upstream rack. The other connector allows a daisy-chained arrangement for connecting extra expansion racks. When installing the GE Fanuc IC693ACC341 RPS baseplate, always make sure to install the Bus Receiver Module in Slot 1.

The GE Fanuc IC693ACC341 RPS baseplate comes equipped with 3 green LEDs. These LEDs provide the status updates for the IC693ACC341 module and the presence of the I/O bus terminator plug which is needed in the last rack as well as the status of the rack activity. The bus receiver module supports the last state operation of the output module, in case there is a loss of communication with the CPU.

Additionally, it also allows the users to isolate and repair a defective module in a rack. When installing the IC693ACC341 RPS baseplate, the users must ground it like every other IC693 PLC baseplate. Every ground wire must have a size 12 AWG or a bigger wire with a ring terminal folded at the end. Additionally, the users must fasten one end of each ground wire to a suitable surface on the mounting panel. Typically, the users will need to identify the ideal place to fasten the ground wire in their system because it can vary.
