 The IC200CMM020 module is a serial communication module in the Versamax series manufactured by GE Fanuc. It is equipped with serial communication ports.
The GE Fanuc IC200CMM020 module is a Versamax compatible serial communication module. It functions as a Modbus master module with the Versamax I/O configured by using the NIU from Genius. There are serial ports present in the module that can interface with different slave devices by including controllers, readers, and VFDs. The data and information from these devices is transported to and from the network interface unit (NIU) over the local network. This data is compatible with different controllers that works with global data by Genius. The IC200CMM020 module can connect up to 2 I/O stations at a time. It is equipped with an RS-485 port, a 15-pin D-type connector, and an RS-232 port. The IC200CMM020 module features different baud rates of 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, or 19200 baud with both full and half duplex operations. This communication module consumes a total of 460 milliamps of current at 5 Volts output voltage, and 5 milliamps of current at 3.3 Volts output voltage
