The GE Fanuc/Emerson IC200UAL005 VersaMax Micro PLC is a PLC which adapts to the manufacturing environment of modern industrial facilities and which promotes high levels of flexibility in the control hardware and software for increased precision and efficiency.

Frequent program changes with this PLC can be easily managed by hot-swapping the memory cards that come in the form of program Flash memory modules that are able to modify the users’ control algorithm without turning the controller off.

The GE Fanuc/Emerson IC200UAL005 VersaMax Micro PLC is also totally scalable with up to 4 I/O expansion modules that can be stacked onto the original 64 I/O points that come from the factory on the PLC in the following distribution: eleven 24 Volts DC discrete inputs, 2 analog inputs, one 24 Volts DC analog output, and 9 relay outputs.

The built-in logic memory of the GE Fanuc/Emerson IC200UAL005 VersaMax Micro PLC comes from the factory with a capacity of 9K words, and the data storage capacity is up to 2K words. This micro PLC also provides 2 built-in serial ports, one for the RS-232 protocol, and the other for the RS-485 protocol, and it includes an Ethernet port that is perfectly compatible with the native VersaMax SE protocol.

The GE Fanuc/Emerson IC200UAL005 VersaMax Micro PLC can also be used as a high-speed counter, offering up to 4 input pairs in the 10 Khz frequency range (16 bits), and for applications working with Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) it can receive 4 pulse trains in the 5 Khz frequency range (16 bits).
