It comes with 40 DC inputs and 24 DC outputs. Eight of the inputs can be used as high-speed counter inputs. One to 4 outputs are used as standard, PWM, pulse train, and high-speed counter outputs at a time. 

The standard outputs are source type outputs that can be interfaced for a variety of devices such as limit/electronic proximity switches and pushbuttons. Outputs 5 to 24 ensure that there is short circuit protection. Some of the features of the IC200UDD064 PLC module include a built-in serial communication port, a removable memory pack module, a resettable calendar clock, 24K words of memory, 32K of registers, and optional lithium battery backup for the RAM.

The IC200UDD064 VersaMax 64-point Micro/Micro Plus PLC module has 2 communication ports. One port is a built-in port and the other port is optional and can be added if needed. The first port (Port 1) consists of an RJ-45 connector with a built-in RS-232 serial communication protocol. 

The second port can be added by using the port option module. The communication ports can be configured for the SPN master/slave, RTU master/slave, and serial I/O protocols. The IC200UDD064 PLC module can accommodate up to 4 expansion units that can be configured in any combination. 

Both Micro and Micro Plus PLCs have the same user logic memory size. The dimensions of the module are 90 millimeters in height, 76 millimeters in depth, and 195 millimeters in width. It supports enhanced high-speed counters as well as pulse train commands from blending, homing, and jogging functions. This module is the ideal solution for a control system that comes with several features in a compact package.
