The GE Fanuc IC600WD005 Expansion Rack I/O Cable is a 5-foot I/O expansion cable for the GE Series Six PLC systems. The IC600WD005 Expansion Rack I/O Cable helps to link I/O racks to the local I/O station. It is compatible with GE Series Six and the Series 90-70 PLC systems. The GE Series Six local I/O station consists of a CPU module and up to 10 I/O racks with a power module on each I/O rack. In a system that requires more than 10 I/O racks, one or more I/O racks containing either an I/O transmitter or a remote I/O drive module can be used for connecting to additional I/O racks. The IC600WD005 Expansion Rack I/O Cable is designed to provide I/O continuity for a parallel I/O Bus. It provides a connection between I/O racks within a local I/O station, the Central Processor Unit (CPU), or the remote I/O station.
The GE Fanuc IC600WD005 Expansion Rack I/O Cable also links a local I/O station to a CPU or another local I/O station on the Bus. The internal configuration features 16 twisted pair conductors with overall shielding. Each conductor pair is color-coded for easy identification and trouble-shooting.
