IC694MDL240 | General Electric AC input module

The IC694MDL240 module is an input module that has been designed by GE Fanuc Automation and it comes with 16 input points that share a common power input terminal. The circuits come with reactive inputs, which means that they have been designed as resistor and capacitor inputs. The module works with an AC power source, and it cannot be used with a DC power source. The inputs of the GE Fanuc Automation IC694MDL240 input module are fully compatible with different input devices such as pushbuttons, limit switches and electronic proximity switches. The power needs to be supplied by the users and the module can be installed in any slot of an RX3i PACSystems rack.

The GE Fanuc Automation IC694MDL240 input module has 16 LED indicators that show the on and off status of each input point and red bands that show that this module is a high-voltage module. The GE Fanuc Automation IC694MDL240 input module has a rated voltage of 120 Volts AC and an input voltage range of 0 to 132 Volts AC with a frequency of 50 to 60 Hertz. The module provides an isolation voltage of 250 Volts AC continuous from the field side to the backplane and 1500 Volts AC isolation from the field side to the frame ground for 1 minute. The inputs come with an on-state voltage of 74 to 132 Volts AC and off-state voltage of 0 to 20 Volts AC. With a current rating of 6 milliamps minimum in the on-state and 2.2 milliamps maximum in the off-state. The module has a power consumption rating of 90 milliamps at 5 Volts DC Bus backplane voltage. The inputs used per module will depend on the operating temperature.
