PROFIBUS DPV1 Master for CompactLogix
The ILX69-PBM PROFIBUS DPV1 Master module provides all the advantages of in-chassis PROFIBUS communication, such as the inclusion of an AOI and the Autoscan features which greatly reduce your commissioning time, and ComDTM that provides remote Ethernet connectivity with asset management software.
With these modules, CompactLogix™ processors can easily communicate with slave devices supporting PROFIBUS DPV0 and DPV1 protocol. The module acts as an input/output module between the PROFIBUS network and the processor supporting complete Master specifications according to IEC 61158.
The ILX69-PBM DPVI master module by PROFIBUS comes complete with several incredible features. It provides all the benefits offered by in-chassis PROFIBUS communication platforms, such as the Autoscan features that significantly minimize the commissioning time. There is also a ComDTM feature that delivers excellent Ethernet connectivity and features advanced asset management software. The module serves as a great input or output unit between the processor and the PROFIBUS network. The PROFIBUS ILX69-PBM master module is designed for use with the CompactLogix platform that allows the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) to regulate the exchange of data on a PROFIBUS network. The ILX69-PBM, which is used to handle the cyclic data/information exchange that takes place between connected PROFIBUS slave units. Through the backplane technology, the ILX69-PBM is able to exchange data with a CompactLogix controller. It is also important to note that the processed image of the controller and the ILX69-PBM module is automatically updated.
