Full Description:	PEPPERL+FUCHS RSD-CFA-Ex.CN Fiber-Adapter Only the RSD-CFA-Ex.CN has to be connected to an intrinsically safe power supply (e. g. RSD2-PSD2-Ex4...). The maximum intrinsically safe values of the Copper/Fiber-Adapter must not be exceeded. The terminals V+ and V- are the connectors for the power supply.

Only the RSD-CFA-Ex.CN has to be connected to an intrinsically safe power supply (e. g. RSD2-PSD2-Ex4...). The maximum intrinsically safe values of the Copper/Fiber-Adapter must not be exceeded. The terminals V+ and V- are the connectors for the power supply. The Fiber-Coupler is supplied by the Copper/ Fiber-Adapter.
The RSD-CFA-Ex.CN and the RSD-FC-Ex2.CN.3km do not need a separate Terminal Base. The Copper/Fiber-Adapter provides the coupling to the ControlNet coax cable, the Fiber-Coupler realizeses the connection to the fiber optic cable.Both devices are connected via a plug, which is located at the right hand side of the RSD-CFA-Ex.CN and the left hand side of the RSD-FC-Ex2.CN.3km. Before both devices are mounted the cover plug on both units must be removed. Only remove the cover plug when mounting
