The SMC Dialog Plus 150-B97NBD controller is an advanced motor controller which is rated for 97 Amps of output current and which supports multiple operating modes. The operating modes available as standard on SMC Dialog Plus controllers include the energy saver, dual ramp start, and kickstart operating modes. Several other operating modes are available as custom options, including the accu stop, pump control, and soft stop operating modes.

The energy saver mode is a standard feature which is designed to provide energy savings for applications where the motor is unloaded or lightly loaded for extended periods of time. The energy saver mode does not require external wiring or additional panel space and it also does not require a complex setup procedure.

An integrated serial port is provided on the 150-B97NBD controller for connection to an Bulletin 1201 HMI or with multiple Bulletin 1203 communication modules including the RS-232, DeviceNet, and Remote I/O modules. A backlit LCD screen is provided on the 150-B97NBD controller for the display of parameters.

Controller programing is accomplished through a 5-button keypad on the controller front panel. At 460 Volts AC input voltage, the 150-B97NBD controller delivers 5 to 75 Horsepower of output and 97 Amps of current. The input voltage range for the controller is three-phase 200 to 460 Volts AC voltage. The control voltage rating is 100 to 240 Volts AC. For short circuit protection, a fuse with maximum of 350 Amps of current rating can be used with the 150-B97NBD controller. The heatsink fan on the controller requires 45 VA of power. The approximate weight of the controller is 10.4 kilograms and its dimensions are 336 x 248 x 256 millimeters.
