The drive has a conformally coated body and it can also be installed in different cabinets when it is mounted. The drive comes with a NEMA Type 1 enclosure with an IP 20 rating for protection. With this enclosure, the 1336S-B025-AA-EN4 drive can only be used indoors. The IGBT system in the drive provides a configurable DC hold level and a DC hold time which can be used to produce holding torque in the motor after it stops with the ramp to stop method. The drive is also capable of providing injected braking for stopping and holding a motor. This feature becomes handy when quick stopping is needed.

The front of the 1336S-B025-AA-EN4 drive uses a human-machine interface module to maintain communication between the users and the drive. The interface module comes with a backlit LCD and control keys. The control keys on the module include navigational keys, function keys, and programming keys. The LCD display on the drive offers a process mode. It can display up to 2 lines of information with 8 characters per line to create the whole process display. The interface of the module is easy to use.

The drive uses English as the default language but it can support up to 7 different languages by using the plugin. The 1336S-B025-AA-EN4 drive can support up to 3 sets of motor leads which can be routed by using a single conduit. It will also help minimize the cross talk which in turn improves the effectiveness of the noise reduction.
