Product Description:
The Bently Nevada 330908-51-82-10-02-00 is a 3300 XL NSv proximity probe for machinery condition monitoring in tight spaces or on small targets. It provides non-contact eddy-current measurements where standard 5 mm or 8 mm probes cannot fit due to side-clearance restrictions.The primary uses for the 3300 XL NSv Transducer System are for areas where counter bore, sideview, or rearview restrictions limit the use of standard Bently Nevada 3300 and 3300 XL 5 and 8 mm Transducer Systems. It is also ideal for small target applications, such as measuring radial vibration on shafts smaller than 51 mm (2 in) or axial position on flat targets smaller than 15 mm (0.6 in). The 3300 XL NSv Transducer System design allows it to replace both the 3300 RAM Transducer Systems and the 3000-series or 7000-series 190 Transducer System.
Application:
Centrifugal and Reciprocating Compressors: Ideal for monitoring critical internal components in restricted layouts where side-view clearance or counterbore restrictions prevent standard sensor usage.
Small Steam and Gas Turbines: Deployed on smaller or auxiliary turbomachinery to track dynamic shaft motion without hitting housing boundaries.
Industrial Gearboxes: Perfect for confined gear casings where the proximity probe must be placed extremely close to internal walls or gears without detecting the casing itself.
Small Scale Pumps and Generators: Used on high-speed, fluid-lubricated smaller pumps where the shaft diameter is under 51 mm (2 inches).

A:No. The 3300 NSv probe features distinct electrical characteristics. It must be paired exclusively with a 3300 XL NSv Proximitor Sensor and a 3300 NSv Extension Cable to prevent major calibration errors.

A:When paired with the matching NSv Proximitor Sensor, it delivers a linear range of 1.5 mm (60 mils). The standard sensitivity/Incremental Scale Factor (ISF) is 7.87 V/mm (200 mV/mil).
