Product Description:
The Bently Nevada 330910-00-02-05-01-00 is a 3300 XL NSv Proximity Probe featuring an M10 x 1 metric thread and integrated stainless steel armor. It is for machinery with confined installation spaces or small targets, such as centrifugal compressors.The primary uses for the 3300 XL NSv Transducer System are for areas where counter bore, sideview, or rearview restrictions limit the use of standard Bently Nevada 3300 and 3300 XL 5 and 8 mm Transducer Systems. It is also ideal for small target applications, such as measuring radial vibration on shafts smaller than 51 mm (2 in) or axial position on flat targets smaller than 15 mm (0.6 in). The 3300 XL NSv Transducer System design allows it to replace both the 3300 RAM Transducer Systems and the 3000-series or 7000-series 190 Transducer System.

Q:Can I modify or cut down the 0.5-meter cable if it is too long?
A:No. The total system length (probe plus extension cable) is a factory-calibrated set balanced for accurate electrical impedance. Altering cable length shifts the calibrated scale factor and invalidates voltage readings.
Q:Can I connect this probe directly to a standard 8 mm XL Proximitor?
A:No. The NSv series utilizes specialized coil properties. It must be paired exclusively with a matching 3300 XL NSv Proximitor Sensor to maintain accurate system linearity.
Q:Can I use this probe on shaft diameters smaller than recommended?
A:Yes, but targets under 30 mm (1.2 in) can alter the target's expected electrical scale factor. For shafts under 13 mm, cross-talk or field distortions may occur, requiring custom calibration or a reduced operating gap to mitigate reading errors.
